Kafta

Kheer bandooki is a meat lover’s dream come to life. This delicious street food contains ground beef, lamb or chicken that has been seasoned to perfection and made into cigar-shaped cylinders prior to being cooked on an open flame. The skewers are then placed on the grill so that you can enjoy it right off the skewer or wrap your ‘kafta’ (as they are known) in pita bread, with salad ingredients of your choice, whatever ones remain after all those juicy pickles made of dill.
